Welcome Habitat for Humanity’s Newest Silt Partner Family:
Suzette Beresford and her children: Hannah 14, Andrew 12, and Timothy 10.
The Beresford Family has called the Roaring Fork Valley home for 20 years. After many years of marriage, the family has recently endured a divorce. Suzette has dedicated a large portion of her adult life to being a stay-at-home mom. As many single parents can relate, her new role as a single mother is a daily juggling act. Among these demands is the exciting training and development of a new profession as a Dental Assistant. When Suzette Beresford received the news she was going to have the opportunity to become a Habitat for Humanity partner family she said, “This feels like I’ve won the lottery, only better, because it comes with a community.”
This family is truly working together to build a new life. In addition to school, Hannah and Andrew both work to contribute to the family. This home will provide the foundation and consistency the entire Beresford family has been searching for so they can build their future. Habitat for Humanity of the Roaring Fork Valley is happy to be a part of this family’s next step together.
